The Club was formed in 2006 when a group of keen kayakers got together. It has grown rapidly and now has some 50 members of varying skill levels, from novice to expert.
We meet every Tuesday evening at Helensburgh Pool through the winter and on the open water May through September. There is a program of club trips through the year. Most club trips involve Sea Kayaking but we have members who paddle rivers, open canoes and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs).
Thanks to lottery grants the Club has a fleet of boats (river, sea and fusion kayaks and open canoes) and associated equipment for use of all members.
